SOAR provides an enclosed space for training, teaching, and cutting edge drone research.
- Students: SOAR is available for you, whether you're flying for fun, as part of a class, or as a member of a research group. If you're interested in drones, please join the UB Drone Club
- Researchers: Please send an email to inquire about using SOAR for your current (and future) research projects.
- Non-UB Collaborators: We welcome partnerships with members of industry and other universities. Contact us today and we'll put you in touch with UB faculty who can support your project.
- Instructors: SOAR is a great place for holding classes, labs, or demonstrations of robotic systems. Let us know what you have in mind.

Fly
We're working to automate the registration and reservation system. Once operational, the process for flying in SOAR will be quite simple:
- Complete an online SOAR orientation session.
- Register for SOAR access by passing a quiz, based on the orientation materials.
- Use the calendar system to reserve a time slot in SOAR.
- When you arrive for your reserved session, be sure to check in on-site
